Thomas Hospital
Thomas Hospital's main campus is located in Fairhope. They also
maintain an outpatient
clinic in Daphne. All facilities employ 1,110 workers.

The 150-bed main facility includes a 24-hour emergency care room, inpatient
and outpatient surgery and diagnostics, and ICU services. In addition,
Thomas Hospital has a Heart Center and Cancer Center.

hospital just completed a $25 million project that included a new emergency
department, new patient rooms, expanded support services and parking
accommodations.
Heart Center
Offers a seven-bed surgical ICU, two cardiac catheterization labs and
rehabilitation program. More than 45 cardiologists and cardiovascular
surgeons are on staff at Thomas Hospital.
Cancer Center
Offers
radiation therapy and oncology services. Diagnostics include
mammography, stereo tactic breast biopsy, x-ray and surgical services.

Thomas
Medical Center - Daphne |
An 80,000 square foot outpatient surgery and diagnostic facility that offers
CT scan, x-ray, mammography, ultrasound, bone density tests, EKG, stress
tests, lab and open MRI. The facility also has physician offices and a
community education center. Surgeries performed at Thomas Medical
Center range from orthopedic surgery and plastic surgery to cataract surgery
and gynecological surgery.

Health and Fitness Center |
This membership based health and fitness center, which is located in the
Thomas Hospital Wellness Center, offers adult fitness programs, personal
training, a pool/whirlpool, and special aquatic exercise programs.
South
Baldwin Regional Medical Center
The 82-bed facility offers 24-hour emergency services. Special
features of the ER department include two dedicated trauma rooms, and three
dedicated cardiac rooms. The hospital also offers ICU services, a
heart catheterization lab, cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation services and
lab services. Over 550 workers are employed at the hospital.

North
Baldwin Infirmary
The 55-bed Infirmary is composed of the main hospital, Oakwood Nursing Home,
and the North Baldwin Wellness Center. The hospital has 17 physicians
specializing in eight areas of medicine including radiology, emergency,
family and internal medicine, surgery, physical therapy, OB/GYN, pediatrics
and critical care.

Wellness Center |
31,000 square foot facility which has an indoor track, racquetball courts,
indoor pool and whirlpool, and weights. A cardiovascular rehabilitation
center will be added in the future.

Oakwood Nursing Home |
Oakwood is a skilled nursing facility that does long-term nursing home
placement and short-term rehab. Oakwood specializes in Alzheimer’s and
dementia.

A $25 million expansion
|
The expansion will encompass a new 90,000 square foot, three-story building,
renovations to the current hospital and purchasing additional equipment.
The new building will house a new radiology department, three surgical
suites, ICU, labor and delivery suites and 25 patient rooms.
Mercy Medical
The 162-bed facility in Daphne offers hospice care, assistant living and
rehabilitation. Mercy Medical recently opened the John McClure Snook
Regional Center, an Alzheimer’s facility. The Center provides services for
dementia patients.
McCollough Institute for Appearance and Health
The 40,000 square foot facility is home to a medical spa and skin care
center, a medical testing and referral center, a cancer center, and a dental
center. The institute also performs EBT heart and body scans. In addition,
the campus features on-site accommodations for patients who had surgeries.
