FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE AERO-MARK ANNOUNCES FAIRHOPE, AL FACILITY
Aero-mark LLC previously owned AIRINC, an FAA Licensed repair station that was sold to Fokker Aircraft in 2006. Aero-mark LLC has interests in manufacturing and maintenance within the aerospace industry including Azmark Aero Systems LLC, Certified Aviation Systems LLC and Special Missions Group LLC. It has other interests in aircraft and real estate. AMRO will occupy the building at 14560 Greeno Road in Fairhope that was formerly occupied by Fokker Airinc. Fokker Airinc closed its facility and moved its operations to LaGrange, Georgia in October, 201 1. The building is approximately 26,000 square feet. AMRO will not need all of the space initially but expects to grow into full building use with the near future. In the first year of operation AMRO will have approximately 25 employees and that is also expected to grow as more operations are added. Fokker Airinc employed over 70 highly skilled employees when it closed. Mr. Brad Caban is Chief Operating Officer of Aero-mark LLC. He will oversee operations until the company is large enough to warrant its own management staff. Mr. Caban was formerly the General manager of AIRINC and Fokker Airinc from 2004 through 2010. The Baldwin County Economic Development Alliance and the State of Alabama Economic Development Office have been instrumental in assisting Aero-mark LLC in re-establishing its operations in Baldwin County.
