BALDWIN COUNTY ECONOMY RANKED ONE OF STRONGEST IN THE NATION!

Robertsdale, Ala.- Baldwin County has been ranked as the 11th strongest micropolitan economy in the United States and 4th in the Southeast according to a recent economic strength ranking study conducted by Policom Corporation.

The annual study used a matrix with historical data and numerous economic indicators to evaluate 573 micropolitan and 361 metropolitan areas. According to William Furth, President of Policom, the highest ranked areas have had rapid, consistent growth in both size and quality for an extended period of time and the lowest ranked areas have been in decline for an extended period of time.

Below are the micropolitan areas in the Southeast that scored high in Economic Strength according to the study. (Micropolitan areas are generally named for their largest cities; the “Daphne-Fairhope Micropolitan Area” includes all of Baldwin County.)
