White-Spunner among top 400 U.S. Contractors

White-Spunner Construction in Mobile was ranked one of the nation's top 400 contractors in 2003, based on total revenues, according to Engineering News-Record, a weekly construction magazine.

White-Spunner was ranked 315th with revenues of $132 million last year.

The top 400 rankings were published in the magazine's May 17 issue.

Other Alabama companies ranked among the top firms included Birmingham-based firms BE&K Inc., No. 44, $822 million; Brice Building Co., No. 103, $355 million; B.L. Harbert International, No. 120, $321 million; The Robins & Morton Group, No. 138, $286 million; and Hoar Construction, No. 171, $231 million.

Caddell Construction in Montgomery was ranked No. 180 with $222 million in revenues last year.
