AIRINC
EQUIPMENT PURCHASE WILL BRING MORE HIGH TECH WORK
AIRINC General Manager Brad Caban announced that AIRINC has
once again expanded its facility and capabilities. AIRINC has just installed
a new hydraulic test stand which will allow AIRINC to double the amount of
hydraulic work performed for its airline customers. “This test stand”, Caban
stated, “is one of only three in the world. AIRINC has invested $700,000.00
in this equipment which will allow it to not only double the amount of
aircraft hydraulic component work that it performs, but also to handle newer
and more complex components. The stand is capable of providing up to 5000psi
hydraulic pressure which is now being installed on the next generation
aircraft such as the Boeing 787 and Airbus A380. Older aircraft are rated at
3000psi hydraulic pressure and the majority of the test equipment in the
world is geared towards the older aircraft. With this new niche equipment
AIRINC will be able to secure more airline business, and subsequently hire
more high tech, high wage personnel. Caban stated that this is an investment
in our current business, and also an investment in our future and our
community.
AIRINC is an aviation component repair station which specializes in
hydraulic, pneumatic and avionic components. AIRINC serves many of the
domestic US air carriers such as United, Alaskan, Delta, as well as air
carriers across the globe such as KLM and Quantas.
